Andru “dRu” Dunn is a 21 year-old musician from Kent. dRu's drive and creative ethos has landed him in the world of music with his love for witty word play. Having grown up with strong influences from Motown, Hip Hop and chart music, dRu’s musical taste varies somewhat, and this shows in his work. His outlook is to make music that he enjoys, with content that is genuine. He believes that if a song has something people can relate to, they will enjoy it more. dRu’s normality in his upbringing allows him to relay his genuineness through his music.

Everyone has their ups and downs in life, and dRu wants to make music and tell these stories, music people can relate to. Truth is, everybody goes through a tough time in their lives from time to time. dRu offers a range of uplifting and thought-provoking lyrics, in his songs. dRu has aimed to distance himself from the stereotypical ‘rap artist’ as he believes that people shed too much negativity around the idea. People make music because they enjoy, feel and live it, and through that they should enjoy it. We all have a story to tell, dRu's is one to listen out for.
